Sorry it has been a while to get back on the PC and update. The next generation 356er is about to be born!
Xmas is a week away so here are some Xmas themed photos to get you in the spirit and ensure your 356's are not left out!
So for the Holiday's, here is a bumper update with a few things to keep you busy and entertained on.
A T2 Speedster and Convertible D with gifts to go.
Our 356 brother in the USA, Mark Pribanic used his A Coupe to transport his tree....

A rather young looking Santa, T6 1600 Normal Cabriolet.
Here in NZ we would be alarmed to see the next image in the flesh. Just as heartbreaking seeing it in an image.
But our cousins in the USA are coming across these 356 graves often.
You think a Pre A or A?
I am yet to see a car used in this fashion in NZ, but who's going to be first?
Californian Convertible D 1600 with factory Reuter luggage rack, with a special Surf board bracket!
Those Bumpers sure were strong! never thought they could be used as a ladder.
Will not be everyones cup of tea, but they are taking orders for these coffee tables. What better to way to use a knackered gear box.
Scene Media featuring Jason MacLean's Porsche 356 and Charlotte Louisa Moran.
The front torsion tubes have had changed, lifted, air suspension added, Fuch wide rims, empi steering wheel.
The list goes on.!

Recently RM Auctions sold this amazing 1958 RHD Sunroof Carrera Coupe with Rudge wheels.
Exert from RM Auctions....
The example we are pleased to present here was a special order 356A Carrera GS T-2 that was originally finished in Silver Metallic (#5706) paint with, fittingly, an Irish Green leatherette interior. Further specification included a sunroof, safety belts, “Ponto-Stabil” mirror, corduroy linen-bag, Speedometer in miles, desirable chrome central locking wheels (Rudge), removable headlight grilles and right-hand-drive. It was completed on 23 November, 1957 and shipped to Motor Distributors Limited, the distributor of Volkswagen for Ireland and UK.

How often would you get asked to restore a Porsche for Hans Peter Porsche? Not often, and not a Gmund 356!
This award winning restoration features recently in a few places on the net and deserved a mention here.
exert....
On August 21, 2011 Road Scholars Restorations won 1st in Class at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours. After a two-year restoration project for Hans Peter Porsche, Road Scholars debuted the 1949 Porsche Gmund Coupe to take First in Class in the Class O-2 Postwar Sports Closed.

Not often you get a line up of Carrera's but in this case the 1st Rally Stuttgart-Solitude Lyon-Charbonnières.
Two 59 GT's and a brand new 1960 Carrera B Coupe make up the Porsche contingent.
The Porsche Carrera 356 dominated the 1600 cc GT class and Boutin / Motte even got the overall win.
